Independent news, analysis and technical insight for the plastics community, built on decades of industry heritage
Interplas Insights, the online news and insight platform for the plastics industry, has today become Plastics IQ.
Plastics IQ is also the new digital home of British Plastics & Rubber (BP&R) magazine. It brings one of the industry’s most trusted titles together with the reach and expertise behind Interplas, the UK’s leading plastics exhibition. Between them, BP&R and Interplas have served the plastics community for more than 130 years, and Plastics IQ carries that heritage forward on a modern digital platform.
For design engineers, processors and manufacturers in the UK and internationally, Plastics IQ delivers the independent news, analysis and technical insight they need, from materials and machinery to sustainability, automation and skills.
From January 2027, Plastics IQ will also become more personal. Readers will be able to choose focused newsletters on machinery, materials, circular plastics, automotive and medical, so the news they receive is built around their part of the industry. Quarterly webinars will deliver insights on the issues facing plastics businesses.
Duncan Wood, CEO of Interplas Events Ltd, the company behind Plastics IQ, said: “BP&R and Interplas have served the plastics community for generations. Plastics IQ is the next chapter. It gives the industry one place to stay informed, find solutions and connect with the people shaping its future, online, in print and in person at Interplas.”
